A Giclée print is a high quality archival inkjet print. Giclée printers have a higher dot per square inch resolution and produce much finer prints than a home inkjet printer. Giclée prints deliver unrivalled colour accuracy with superior blacks, exceptional colour gamut and sublimely smooth gradient transitions.

Giclée printers use fade-resistant, archival, pigment-based inks. When applied to high quality archival substrates, like Hahnemühle German Etching acid free paper, the result is an unbeatable archival lifespan of up to 200 years.

Hahnemühle German Etching is a traditional mould-made copperplate printing paper, complete with an inkjet coating designed especially for FineArt applications. This 310gsm heavyweight paper has a slightly warm base tone and a mottled texture. It creates a print with strong colours and deep blacks that feel rich and high in contrast. The texture of the paper enables it to hold more ink and capture the light. It is a robust paper, which doesn’t fray as much at the edges. Hahnemühle papers have been championed by traditional printmakers for centuries.

Packaging. Prints are carefully wrapped in tissue paper and bubble wrap and shipped in a robust cardboard tube, secured and sealed at both ends. All prints are shipped with a signed Limited Edition Certificate.
